Welcome to LondonRunner.ca, home of the London Runner Distance Club, the Runners' Choice London Distance Series, and the London and Area Running Association. This website is meant to act as a focal point for these groups and the London Running Community that surrounds them.
The London Runner Distance Club was founded in 2006 by Steve Weiler. The LRDC quickly became the largest competitive distance running group in the London area and is now emerging on the National scene.
The Runners' Choice London Distance Series has grown into a key race series for Ontario distance runners, and has helped numerous athletes qualify for International competitions such as the World Youth and World Junior Track and Field Championships. With 2009 events such as the London 10,000m and the New Balance 1,500m Night, the RCLDS will continue to produce some of the deepest distance races in Canada.
The London and Area Running Association is a not-for-profit organization established to promote distance running as a lifelong activity and to facilitate the development of high performance athletes and coaches within the sport. Read more...
