Welcome to LondonRunner.ca, home of the London Runner Distance Club, the Runners' Choice London Distance Series, and the London and Area Running Association. This website is meant to act as a focal point for these groups and the community that surrounds them.

Founded in 2006, the London Runner Distance Club is a large and diverse group of middle and long distance runners that compete in Track, Cross Country, and Road Racing. LRDC athletes range from elementary school age to Masters (40+), and compete anywhere from the local level to representing Canada internationally.

The London Runner support network consists of two major partners - New Balance and Runners' Choice London - who provide footwear, apparel, and financial support to aspiring Elite runners through the Athlete Assistance Program; they also provide financial and equipment support, as well as product discounts, that benefit all club members. CBI Health provide timely access to top medical support, while maintaining an avenue for ongoing communication between the runner and their physiotherapist. Massage Therapy partner David Cousins provides discounted rates for all members of the London Runner Distance Club. 

The Runners' Choice London Distance Series is a key race series for Ontario distance runners that has helped numerous athletes qualify for International competitions. Annual events such as the London Distance Classic, London 10,000m, and 1,500m Night produce some of the deepest distance races in Canada.

The London and Area Running Association is a not-for-profit organization that was established to promote distance running as a lifelong activity and to facilitate the development of high performance athletes and coaches within the sport. The LARA hosts Kids Running Clinics, coordinates speaking engagements, and facilitates numerous competitions and fundraisers.
